Shoulder Pain

So, how many of you post-op banders are having shoulder pain? I have to tell you, my left shoulder hurts more than any of my incisions on my stomach do! I've been walking around quite a bit and moving my arm around, but nothing seems to help. It's like a constant brain freeze, except in my shoulder. I can't wait for this to pass.

I had heard that passing gas might relieve the pain but trust me from experience, that's not working. :)

The doctor told me the shoulder pain is "referred pain" from injury at another location, in this case, the diaphragm. It is not an injury or pain in the shoulder actually. I was reading about this, and a lot of back pain is actually at other places in the body

How long did you have the shoulder pain.? I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and mine is unbearable, I have a call in to the surgeon, but from what I am reading, sounds like I need to try Gasx?
