I had another one yesterday...

I was shooting archery with some buddies and I needed to go down range and look for an arrow (oops I missed). I just kinda by instinct, started to run! It is amazing how fast you can cover 60 yards while running. I remember thinking at about 30 yards... "this feels strange. I haven't ran in about 8 years" I remember feeling kind of "off balance", but I am sure that is because I have not experienced running in so long.

Next stop... Snow Skiing!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to hit the slopes again!

My 36 work pants are way loose. I'm considering going next week to try on 32s.

I had an acquaintance that I haven't seen in quite awhile (and even then it was for a very short time before) comment on how much weight I've lost.

I had a great NSV for me this afternoon. I was getting groceries out of my car and my next door neighbor asks me if my dad is home as he would like to talk to him,,, I turn and look at him and say, Uhhhmm you mean my husband? He stammers and then says Sorry, I thought it was your daughter, and WOW you have lost alot of weight haven't you? With a great big smile I said yes, thank you... I then got my dad for him,,err I mean husband,,hehehehehhe :-D

I went from a size 28 to a size 20 in three months; I'm so happy I want to shout.

I know this feeling well, I have lost the same size difference. I got out the pair of jeans that were so tight I could not breath before surgery and they are huge, I am thrilled but am waiting for my 16's to come along. I have some wonderful dresses in that size. I cannot tell you how long it has been since I wore a dress above my knee. I have a light lavender skirt that buttons up the front that my husband loves....have not had it on in 8 years....but it is coming...I can almost taste it!!:tt2:

Ok..here is mine. My pants fell down at the store today. I laughed, pulled them up and said I think it is time for some new clothes. I have gone from a size 34 to a size 26 and am almost in a size 24. I have hit all the smallest sizes in the closet. I am 2lbs away from reaching 50% of my weight loss goal of 179lbs. I guess to many NSV's lately. It is what keeps me going.

I never thought I would have heard myself saying I'm so happy my pants fall down. LOL I SO feel you on this one, Cindy. You are doing so great!

I bought a pair of stretchy-type track pants before the surgery to wear to my surgery since it was comfy clothing that could easily be put back on. I love those dang pants. I have been wearing them running and that's turning out to not be such a great idea because I have to keep hiking my pants back up or I'm going to end up by the side of the road with my pants around my ankles.

So I'm wearing a pair of black yoga pants that used to be tight...they are so saggy on the butt. I LOVE it! I guess I don't mind having to hike my pants back up because I get to say in my head to the passing motorists, "See? You see how skinny I am? My dang pants are falling off!" LMAO

What'll be big for me is hitting "normal" for my BMI. 21 pounds, dangit...21 pounds. *sigh*

Oh Cindy, that is too funny. I know you've been busy with the new store, but you just have to get a few new pairs of pants! Besides, I'm sure the old baggy ones are not showing off your fabulous weight loss.

Good for you two lbs to the half way mark!

Here's my NSV:

I went to a basketball game at Madison Square Garden here in NYC. The turnstiles, where they take your ticket, are quite narrow and were made decades ago when the average American was probably about 150lbs. Now, with a much *larger* population, a majority of the people going though have to turn sideways to fit through or they have to walk around and the ticket-taker manually pushes the counter bar.

This past weekend, I presented my ticket and walked through the turnstile - STRAIGHT FORWARD! No sideways step to fit through, etc! I was so happy!

while getting a smoothie today I noticed a sweet shirt that was for sale. I told the employee I wanted to buy one and he went in the back to get me one before I could tell him what size.

he came back out with 3 shirts stating he didnt know what size I would want. he brought me a childs extra large, small, and medium!!

didnt even bring out the large or extra large.

so strange!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
