Anyone else have to get lovanox injections after surgery? They said it’s bc I was a past Bariatric surgery patient. They want to make sure I don’t throw a clot. I don’t want that either! I also ordered SCDs from Amazon as recommended by my surgeon.

Thanks everyone! Doing great. I had Exparel so pain is pretty nil. It’s extra money but WORTH IT!! (Like $400). Pretty sore though when I try and cough and this sleeping sitting up is rough. Once I get back home I’ll be in the recliner. In a hotel overnight. So happy it’s done!! Can’t wait to see them tomorrow at my post op!!!

Yep...don’t remember the name, but it was to prevent blood clots and it was once a day for 7 days after PS. I had to do them for after wls too, but i cant remember for how long...probably 7 days also?
