I’m sure it has to do with the foods I eat but I was fine a few weeks ago I’m about 6-7 month out and everything that I ate gives me an annoying pain like acid reflux and inability to eat so I have been trying the Protein Shakes and a super bland diet. Even sometimes with that I don’t want to eat because I feel uncomfortable and that pain. What do you guys use for remedies at home or the kind of diet do you guys use to get by this phase if it is a phase.

I second GreenTealael's advice. Whenever you get sudden, unexplained pain you probably should be checking with your medical team.

Just a thought: When I went through lap band surgery, at about the 4-month mark I started having episodes of pain every time I ate. It didn't really matter much what I ate. I constantly had a sort of "sick" or acidic taste in my mouth. Long story short, they finally figured out that it was my gallbladder. I guess that because my pain was not in the typical location, they kept blowing me off and trying to blame it on something I did/something I ate.

Either way, definitely contact your doctor and a side bit of advice, BE PERSISTENT.

My usual home remedy is a phone... To call my Surgeon 😂

I did on Friday he said Protein Shakes and some acid reflux medicine. He said if it continues through the week then he will send me to the hospital to get some lab work and stuff done. I do have to be persistent but I’m also scared of like hospitals at the moment but if it has to get done it has to get done! 👍🏻

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
