It's been 10 days since surgery and the past several days I feel like I have bad breath. Has anybody else had this and if so WHAT do you do???

It's probably keto-breath. It happens when your body is in ketosis. Smells like aceton to other people.

You can chew spinach, gum (yes I know, frowned upon), have some breath mints and rinse your mouth with listerine or other STRONG mouthwashed. Would reccomend for the sake of other people that you pay attention to this for a while as it stinks, not just the mouth, but whole body😂

Yes! I’m very familiar with this and it’s awful! It also made everything taste bad, even Water. It will go away though just give it time

It's gross. I use sugar free breath mints and brush my teeth twice a day, as well as use a really good mouthwash. It does die down a bit after a while, but as long as you maintain ketosis, it will be that way, unfortunately.

The taste is AWFUL! Hopefully this will not last long. I'm SO paranoid about having BAD BREATH!

Hey, it may be a pain to live with, but it is a GOOD thing--it shows that you are metabolizing your fat stores!

Brush your tongue when you brush your teeth. Biotene helps if you have dry mouth.

Mostly alright. Of course we're scared about COVID and we're getting more and more patients that tested positive.

It's kind of draining to see only the severe cases. It kind of makes you blind to the milder cases that never show up at the hospital and in the end that's the majority of SARS-CoV-2-positive people.

        I agree

The dogs have finally figured out the new schedule for walking twice a day...and keep bugging me at the appropriate times to go out. For those of you who dont't have dogs, they have no snooze function. So they have really held up the bargain of being my personal trainers. Who's a good boi?!?
