I had mine on 12/9 and down 30lbs! I’m walking close to mile and a half a day. Now I can’t wait till I can have raw veggies as I am craving salads so bad lol!

I'm 4 weeks out today and have been at 23lbs down for the last week or so, really fluctuating with a pound less. I hate how this messes with my head lol like you feel like it's not enough but realistically it's more than I would've done on my own lol I keep trying to tell myself this.

I do need to work on getting more Water in, I've gotten a lot better at getting my Protein in but I don't think I'm getting enough calories either.

I want to start working out. I bought some weights and have an elliptical..just gotta use it lol

edit to add: What are you guys eating at the stages you're in? How may calories? I'm on my 2nd week of purees; I've had scrambled eggs, tuna, refried Beans and homemade guacamole so far. I don't have an actual schedule to follow on how I eat though. I "feel" hungry often but get full so fast. I see my dietician for the 1st time post op on February 11th.

You’re doing amazing I am 2 weeks out and 9.8 pounds down as of today. I started purée today! I made egg salad and I am making taco Soup. They will both last me all week. I will be doing refried Beans and cheese, ricotta bake, and chicken salad next week.

Im so proud of everyone! You all are truly doing amazing! I can’t thank each and every one of you enough for being here and helping me. I’m 4 weeks PO. Two maybe three bites I’m full. I try to eat 3 times a day, sometimes it don’t happen though. I’m eating stuff like vegan meat balls, soft veggies, tofu, avocado, PB2. I’m doing real good with fluids and Protein Drinks. I’m maintaining minimum 60g of Protein, and almost reached 85oz of Fluids. Whoot whoot!!

Sleeved 12/13 went from 228lbs to 212lbs really quick and haven't moved since

Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

You have lost a lot of weight very quickly, your body may need time to just catch up. How much Protein, calories and Water do you get every day? I was sleeved on the 12th so we are neck and neck. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! Nice you get to start purees! This is my 2nd week of purees but I didn't get to start them until I was 3 weeks out. Taco Soup sounds good!!

I had the sleeve on 12/17 and I am down 22 pounds. I have definitely stalled though. I was losing a pound a day but I have not lost anything in about 5 days. I am hoping the weight loss will start back up again. Any thoughts would be helpful. I am on soft foods. I do have a complication of having cancer as well. I am on an oral chemo pill for two weeks and then off for one week. I just finished my first cancer pill cycle post-surgery. Things were fine for the first week and a half but I have been feeling awful for the last 5 days. The thought of food makes me want to throw up, but I know I have to eat. So, I am having a hard time with this new cancer pill wrinkle thrown in. I am hoping I will eventually get used to everything.

Hi Everyone,

Great to hear that I'm not alone! I was sleeved on 12/30/19. I have been down almost 25 pounds since last Thursday. I started puree stage then and since, then the scale has gone up a little then down. I know that my body is trying to adjust I'm sure. I am eating puree 3x a day, about 2 oz of cottage cheese with a little bit of peach puree, scrambled egg, chicken, a little spinach puree, and light Soup. I am really struggling to getting more than 48 oz of Water. Very tired of Protein Shakes, ugh and a wee bit of nausea now and again. Been walking around the block, doing light arm and leg exercises. My next Dr appt is in 3 months! He told me to start on regular food at week 4, no more puree. I eat slow and sometimes can feel it, other times I don't feel restriction at all, depending on the food. I'm so worried about stretching out my pouch! I am averaging about 500-600 calories per day.

Wow! You all are doing so good! I was sleeved 12/24 and am only down 9 pounds since surgery. I'm constantly nauseous and am beginning to think it's the Vitamins we're required to take because I was breezing through until I started those week 3. I cannot stand to be nauseous!!! I am in phase 3 of the post-op diet which is the soft food stage. I am able to eat about 1.5 ounces of tuna or egg but chicken makes me gag the minute I smell it. Hearing everyone else's results makes me think I'm not doing something right :(

Sleeve surgery 12/17 and down 10.5lbs. I definitely feel like it should be more than that but happy with any progress.

I hated the chewable vitamins, after the first week I bought the vitamin patches off of this site and so far so good! Consider trying them, I haven’t felt nauseous using them so far

I didn't lose any weight pre-op though, so that's probably why those first 24 pounds came off so quick. I'm now at the point where I would get while dieting and could never get past. I'm hoping to lose about 5 more by the end of the month fingers crossed. I have heard that the more we need to lose the faster it goes off.

If it makes you feel better I was down 14 lbs the first week but only 2 lbs in week two. I just keep reminding myself that if I stick to the plan the pounds will drop off eventually.

I wish I could but I'm allergic to adhesive. The Patches would literally burn my skin off. I may try one without the extra Iron and see if I can tolerate that. Some is better than none I would think

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
