February 20th! I have been "stalking" this site for months now and finally have a concrete date to look forward to so I figured I would share. Good luck to my fellow February sleevers (and other procedures :))!!

I’m scheduled for feb 3rd

Same surgery date! Are you in the pre-op diet phase? Ugh, although from reading through these posts mine is more liberal than some. I get one "meal" a day; 2 Protein Shakes and 2 "snacks". How is yours going?

My surgery will be at Brigham and Women in Boston. Where is yours?

I just found out my surgery date today so no I haven’t started liquids yet. She said I can start on Monday. My plan is the same 2 shakes a day plus one small meal with small portion of mean and no starchy veggies. I’m in WV but getting surgery in VA

I am getting my required nicotine testing done next week, then its just waiting while they send all the info to the insurance company. I am thinking end of February maybe early March surgery date, fingers crossed. It's been a long road - these darn cigarettes. I completed all my other requirements but was struggling to quit smoking. I finally got it- and I am 30 days clean as of Monday, I feel really good about it and no longer having any cravings. Hopefully they don't ding me too hard on the weight gain.

30 Days is great! Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I have ever done; and it is something I am still grateful for even 12 years and 60 pounds later....Good luck getting through the process for approval!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
