Couch to 5K - Week of 25 ? 01 December

Hi everyone,

this is our seventh week in the Couch to 5K program. This is designed to be a 9 week program, but you can repeat weeks (as I will be doing) until you are comfortable moving on. However, you are not supposed to skip weeks.

It has been strongly suggested by trainers and runners alike to NOT run on consecutive days.

More information can be found here: Cool Running :: The Couch-to-5K Running Plan

Please go to the cool running site to view your week’s detail.

Anyone is free to join, no matter where we are!! :(

This is the place to check in and support with each other and see how it is going.

What week are you doing?

How is it going for you? Is it too difficult / too easy?

Any comments??

Good luck everyone!

I was totally sure last week I wouldn't make the 20 minute run but somehow I did. You can do it just don't think about it too much and keep going!

I did week 6, day 2 today the ten minute runs - not too bad. I really look forward to runnng now - what kind of sick person am I?!

Next run is the 25 minute run and then on to week 7!

Yikes.

Good luck everyone.

omg whos - those are beeeeeuuuuuuuutifulllllll!

Thnaks! Froze my butt off taking those! Its weird to think i ran 2miles this morning and swam 1/2 mile and i feel fine!

you go sweethot! I think that 20 min run was a milestone for me. now im doing the 25 min runs no prooblem.

Congrats on doing the twenty!

I went spinning this morning and have classes scheduled for tomorrow, sunday and monday too - thinking of adding my 25 minute runs in also and see how that works. I am thinking of attending a spinning/running new years party at the spinning studio on new years eve - it includes meditation, a spinning class and then a 5K run followed by drinks and champagne. I really need to get myself both spinning and running on the same day in order to be able to do this within one month. Yikes.

KAren that sounds like a REALLY great thing to do for a New Years eve party. Wish my Y did that!

Ill come down and paaaaaaaaarrrtyyyyyyy:)
