Finally Eating Real (Soft) Foods Again

Today I finally get to eat real food. It's been over a month between pre and post surgery and, honestly, I was thinking about doing something dreadful if I had to have another shot of protien shake ever again. I will miss the ease in which I could eat on a protien shake only diet, but that is the ONLY thing I will miss.

Under my doctor, soft food is also extremely limited, but it's enough to make me happy. In about a month I start getting all the meats back, at that point, I can't imagine needing anything else. Never thought I'd say it, but right now I'd take a chicken breast over some crisp French bread any day!

Congrats. Nice to be off that liquid diet and feel normal again.

  • Awesome! The longer you can keep this mindset during the WLM, the better in my honest opinion. I didn't want to dink around with the scenic tour of weight loss. Been there, done that, never got to goa
