When Is Your First Fill After Surgery? I am able to eat more food now!!

Hello,

I had my surgery October 24th, and I am not scheduled for my first fill on 12-27!

My surgeon likes patients to wait about eight weeks until the first fill. I am getting hungrier each day. I lost 15 pounds since the surgery, and worried I am will gain the weight back before the fill.

Anyone else waiting for the first fill and getting hungrier each day and able to eat larger quantities of food!:whoo:

Hi Summer, I sympathize. I was banded on Nov.15 and scheduled for 3 fills, Dec. 17 is my first with 2 more in January. I am almost 3 weeks post op and feel back to normal in terms of appetite. I am eating most regular foods and find myself wanting to snack constantly. I do feel that I feel fuller faster than before and I don't push that feeling. But I can't wait to get my fill because like you I feel I'm gaining the weight I lost just after the surgery. Good luck!!!
