VSG + Hiatal Hernia Repair

I'm having my sleeve in conjunction with a hiatal hernia repair, which I've been told is very common. I'd like to hear from folks who have had this combination, particularly about your recovery & pain afterward. I'm wondering if there are more complications or pain than without the hernia repair? Any issues?

    I had both done at same time March 2018. No issues with either. Took pain meds for 3 days after that just followed doctors orders.

I had sleeve and hiatial hernia surgery and I did good. I still have about 25 pounds left to lose. I started getting sick from the hernia right before the surgery so it is probably best that I had it done
