I am 7 months post RNY. I have had a piece of bread once and graham crackers multiple times. I thought no big deal lets try oatmeal. I made it with water and added a little ground flax seed.
After a few bites I felt full so I stopped eating. A few hours later I was miserable and 4 hours later finally vomited it up. I felt better then worse and had a second episode. I don't know if it was just stuck or what but I don't think I will ever eat oatmeal again.
Today I have had only water and about half of a premier shake. It is so frustrating to feel like you take a step back.
