Some of your numbers don't look right...for instance the Creatinine is usually with a decibel (ex. 1.9) and Trigs and HDL are usually whole numbers(ex. 35). Look at the area on your report that lists the normal ranges for each test. That will tell you if they are high or low. Every lab has a slightly different set of ranges and it's possible that the lab that ran your tests may use a different format which would explain why the numbers look odd to me.

I'm a lab tech.

US units and Aus units are often different so it would be hard for someone on an American site to interpret them. What does your Dr say? Usually if you have a copy of the report it gives a range and the ones which are a problem are highlighted

Those were the ones on my results marked as high or above norm. Sorry for the confusion.

Except thyroid was normal just thought someone here would have advice..

I'll be seeing surgeon in a month to discuss

Thx

You can try to Google/reseach acceptable range for each of these. But totally discuss with your doctor if something seems off/ not well understood.

(It's what i did for my lab results. My surgeon's office only discusses really problematic things like a deficiency).

GOOD LUCK , ALMOST THERE 💜

@Mikeyy - do they have the ranges on your results? Can you post them so we can see how far out they are of range?

@Mikeyy your results tell me about presence of metabolic syndrome: high blood sugar (you're type 2 diabetic?), low HDL (good cholesterol), high triglycerides, I assume your BP is high too? Elevated GGT indicates cardiovascular disease. Elevated vit.D3 (toxic above 100) tells me you take high doses of vit. D supplements. Your thyroid is overactive due to diabetes and obesity. Your RNY will take care of all these issues.

Thank you and this is why I'm going for the RNY being the more drastic option as I need the extra help that's for sure!!

Elevated GGT is usually related to the liver although in itself it is a very nonspecific test.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
