I need help/advice from fill veterans

Hi everyone,

I am really down today :cry . I had my first fill a week and a half ago, and I think there is something wrong (I got 1.8cc). I can have Soups and my Protein Drinks, chopped up chicken (like chicken salad), and even a Protein Bar (like pria). But the thing is, I tried scrambled eggs today, and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. The pain was incredible. I don't understand. This has happened for the last week, I think I can eat something, and then BAM! :eek it hits me like a ton of bricks.

I know my fill is what it is supposed to be, because they did a fluorio and counted the seconds it took for the liquid to go through. The doctor said it had to be at least 30 seconds, anything less would not be enough restriction. After several tries it ended up at 1.8cc.

However, when does this awful heart attack feeling go away? Does it ever? How do you know what you can or can't eat? I mean scrambled eggs?? I thought this was a good choice, or am I way off?

Please help...I need advice and support to get me through this, I am beggining to wonder if I made a mistake.

I had my surgery 11-18-04 by Dr. de la Garza and I had my first fill 1-28-05. t's been two weeks and I am experiencing the same disomfort you are, except maybe a little worse. I really haven't been able to eat much of anything without getting that terrible heavy feeling and then throwing up. I take really, really small bites and still get sick. I an really feel the restriction, but will it always be this way. I guess I really didn't know waht to expect after I got the fill. I believe my fill was 2.2. I am wanting some feed back on what I should expect. Thanks for any information you can give me!

Scrambled eggs are a no-no for me and also rice. But broiled salmon is the worst!!! It gives me that awful golf-ball effect with pain. In the past I ate a lot of fresh salmon, broiled , as it was my favorite dish (bomber). But, it's ok. I am still very happy to have my band!

lighthouse, you may be just a tad overfilled. If you are frequently throwing up, you should contact your dr right away!
