What is that white thing on your back? A bag?

Yes because my children refuse to leave the ocean long enough for me to take my bag inside.

been spending a ridiculous amount of time out on my porch these days cuz (1) the weather has been gorgeous, and (2) Mr. recently assembled some seriously comfortable and hard-to-get-out-of adriondack chairs for me. so i often have nothing much to do out here but stare at my thighs. sooo...im sharing the view. Ha!

I went to the movies this morning. (My cleaner was at my house & I feel like an lazy ass if she’s working & … I’m not.) Was going to take a pxt of how bundled up I was but the cinema was too dark. Why do the make cinemas sooooo dang cold? I had on a big thick alpaca jumper & a long oversized knitted coat which I used as a granny knee rug & I was still cold. The coat is from my before days & is about 6 sizes too big but it always kept me warm. I keep it as an emergency coat in my car & cause I can wrap it around me a few times now.

couldn't resist a deal. picked up these "sock stilettos" at the mall today for $30 CDN. i have absolutely no where to wear them, so i'm just playing dress up at home. paired them with a faux leather skirt which i also bought on a whim a couple years back which i have worn in public a total of ONE time, ha.

if it wasn't for this OOTD thread, human eyes would not be laid on like 3/4 of my wardrobe 😂.

i need to get out (and dress up!) more.

p.s. pro tip: wear super high heels will make you look taller and skinner than you really are!

p.p.s. oh, and cross one leg in front of the other one in pictures...makes your butt/hips look like they actually exist!!

You. Look. Fabulous!! Wow, girl. So happy for you! And thanks for the tip about taking pics...and all your input. I always appreciate your feedback in this forum. Thanks so much. You're one of the beautiful peeps here! 🙌 😘 💕

My favorite movie theater has heated recliners that will roast you out, lol. Fantastic!

OOTD, hair edition.

Fist, sorry for monopolizing this thread lately. I/we are bored, outside and having some fun!

On the weekend me and the Kid got hair extensions for funsies. We both think they are waaaay too long and the Kid has already had hers shortened. My shortening appt is on Thurs, but after this afternoon i am stating to like the ridiculous length. I realized i really like it when im basically topless. the contrast between the hair colour and my skin is quite pleasing to me! (and Mr. lolololzzzz)

so i may just keep it this length if i can manage to go about my day without it getting caught somewhere at least 50% of the time. which is NOT easy.

i will say all this hair makes me feel super bad ass and sexy. so if any y'all want a quick pick-me-up in the confidence department, i would suggest some hair extensions to do the trick.

P.s. my actual, real hair stops just above the neckline of my bra...which btw, is my old breast-lift recovery bra (it's laundry day! 😂)

My favorite theater does too and the chairs now vibrate. This is the perfect recipe for falling asleep.

Heated seats & vibration! Makes going to the movies a whole new happy place. 😆

My cinema (independent) has put in new seats which I discovered reclined & had a foot rest. Unfortunately I only discovered it as I was leaving. My bag was hiding the buttons. Sigh. They used to have ottomans you could rest your legs on. A bonus to people like me whose legs don’t quite reach the floor.

I saw The Flash. I enjoy a Marvel or DC movie … well some of them. It was okay. A few laughs. Thought it was wonderful to include past Batmans, Supermen & Supergirls from movies & TV - though not all were included. It was like honouring the past. Sad to see Christopher Reeve though. .

How long did it take for them to put in the extensions @ms.sss?

Going to a formal wedding in about three weeks & have been worrying about shoes. Sad I know. Wasn’t happy with what I thought I’d go with though gorgeous shoes. I’m wearing a bias cut 1930s influenced gown. At about 12:30 this morning I suddenly remembered I had the perfect shoe & had them for years. I’ll wear them with black micro fishnet hose.

My dress. Yes black but look a print. And I have opera length black leather gloves to wear as well.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
