Anyone know Fill place Near Barrie ON or Toronto or anywhere in between

Hi I'm a veteran Lap Bandster, Im looking to get a fill- Im in Barrie and can travel as far as I need to by car. Im hoping of the few bandster left someone knows of one currently doing fills. Barrie/ York Region/ Toronto.

Mine was done by Dr Yau about 15 years ago or more, right after it was approved In Canada. Have had fills at Scarborough Grace, then Slimband, then Prince Arthur. The band has been mildly effective, at first I lost about 90 Lbs, but I have regained 50 Lbs. ovr time. I hardly even know the band is there. The last time I saw Dr yau- years ago- he said if I thought the band slipped he could go in and if it needed replacement it would cost me another $5K..So I've done nothing since then. I searched here and found a post for one on Yonge street but it was from 5 years ago. Thanks for any help.

Hi Babinni, I am so happy I found another 'bandster' from GTA, also Dr.Yau's patient! Do you have acid reflux or vomiting like I have with band? I have had the band for 15 years, it helped me lose weight and keep it off but I vomit all the time. I damaged my esophagus and I have to have it taken out. One doctor suggests sleeve and another mini GBP.

I used to have major acid reflux a few years ago-when i thought that the band had slipped- my GP at the time said it doesn't appear that there is Esophageal damage. Since then it has subsided and i don't wake up from it anymore, however every morning like clockwork I need tums to control the acid. I still think the band has slipped or lost all of its saline. Minimal restriction. I've gained back more than half the weight I lost. Which is why I'm looking to have a fill. Do you happen to know of any area Dr/ facility that does fills?

I have fills with Dr. Hazrati at 5734 Yonge Street, (Yonge and Finch area) phone is: 416-222-5501 he charges $120 for fill or de-fill.

He was a head Surgeon at Prince Arthur SlimBand Clinic.

I got by Band 15 years ago too. It was nice 'chatting' with you

I have minimal acid reflux if I de-fill my band but then I gain weight.
