Pregnancy after gastric sleeve

So I'm currently in the process of getting approved for the sleeve but me and my husband want one more child. My surgeon suggested waiting a year after, did anyone get pregnant a year out? Was the pregnancy fine or do you wish you waited a little longer?

I’m 9 months it and there is no way I would get pregnant again in a few months! I feel like my body had been through the ringer this past year. I couldn’t emotionally handle a new baby at this point
