Can you all recommend your favorite yogurt? I am on puree stage and had some Oikos Triple Zero today but it was too sweet for me. Almost sickening sweet...pre op I liked them but nope......

So I am looking for low sugar and higher Protein. I was looking at Sigis as a possibility but was just curious if anyone has an favorites.

*Bursts in* Am I late? No? Whew...

I prefer the Greekest (I said it) of yogurts. Usually plain 0% fat very high Protein like Chobani, Fage Stoneyfield Farms or even store brand. I choose these because they are highly customizable and can be used for cooking also.

I eat a lot of yogurt. All around the world too, but always the purest plainest I can get.

Good luck 💟

Thank you...I was going to try the fage plain next...not sure what I will add to it at this point but there must be something I can try. Any recommendations on additions that don't add bulk at this point? (basically that I can eat during Puree stage ....powders maybe? ) I am willing to try most anything once.

I like the yoplait “yo” yogurt. It is not Greek but is made with the ultra filtered milk so is higher in Protein and low in sugar.

I have only tried the vanilla and lime so cannot speak for the other flavors but they sell out every time they are on sale.

Some Greek yogurts are too sour for me, so this is a nice change.

Thank you. I will look at this too...variety is key for me.

You can add almost everything to it sugar subs, sugar free syrups like the ones used for coffees, Crystal light powders, preserves, nut butters, fruit purees, top of chili, Soup, etc

The power of plain.

I like dannon light n fit Greek yogurt. Many flavors. toasted coconut or vanilla may be less sweet for you. I love the Carmel apple pie, pumpkin pie, and fruit on the bottom flavors but, they may be too sweet. 80 caories, 12g protien, 9 carbs, 0 fat

I second the plain Greek yogurt. You can add anything to it for the most variety. This morning I added 5 blueberries cooked down with a teeny-tiny pinch of stevia and a teaspoon of Water. Yesterday it was 5 crushed pistachios. And one time I added (don't judge me!) 2 anchovy fillets.
...also good for making tatziki and then adding it everything [emoji6]
Anchovy fillets?? That's a first.

The other good thing about plain is you control the level of additional stuff. So you could put a tiny bit of sugar free Syrup, just enough for the flavour without it being too sweet.

No judgement once I added avocado and pistachio...

I eat a lot of yogurt too and if I have one that is too sweet I add a scoop of plain unflavored Protein Powder to it. Cuts the sweetness and ups the Protein too.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
