Hello everyone!
I am hoping someone can help me out as this book has confused me. Alex, if you read this, please answer.
I went back to this book, which I had purchased quite some time ago, just a refresh. I was looking for some information that I may have forgotten & then I remembered I had been confused when I finished it, but didn't reach out to find out the answers. So....here goes.....
In regards to a diet to follow for the rest of your life, it says we should eat 60-120 gms protein which is 2.1 to 4.2 oz. It then says that we should eat 6 to10 servings, avge serving 2 oz. In other words 12 to 20 oz?
From what my nutritionist prescribed, it is 5 to 7.5 oz for protein. Depending on what you can access on-line, what I read varies anywhere from 2.8 to 3 oz a DAY, to 2 oz 3Xper day. This is from nurses or nutritionists who have put their information on the vsg online.
If someone could please clear this up for me, I would really appreciate it.
