Hey all!

I am so thrilled to be here. I'm a newbie & received my approval today for surgery on Feb. 18th, 2005.

My surgeon is Dr. Christine Ren at NYU Medical Center. I am obviously a little nervous & yet so very excited!

To be honest, I have been lurking around this board, & it has put me much more at ease.

You all helped so much without even knowing it!!!

I'd love to get to know you all a bit better so please feel free to say hi!!

If I can be of help to any of you in any way please don't hesitate to ask!

Dr. Ren is an excellent doctor she too has just come out with a book I believe itis called Living with the Lap Band or something like that. Congratulations and best of luck to you
