Six months post-op+ : The Sophomores Thread

I so needed this thread. Just made 6 months and I’m down 70lbs. Wow. Just thinking about that number is just crazy.

But I’ve been in a stall for two weeks and it is killing my vibe.

It’s part of the journey to keeps us humble. Yikes. But adding some new core exercises hopefully will help build up some muscle and more muscle burns more fat. So I’m in !!

Today (well depends on the time zone I guess!) is my one year surgiversary. So glad I made this decision. I’m enjoying my life so much more, and I was reasonably content before! 😊😊

8 months post-VSG here, and officially 100lbs down (286 to 186). Weight loss still going at about a pound a week, but am way past my original target (219), off all BP meds, and feeling good. Still not spending enough time in the gym - got to focus on that next!
