anyone else still able to eat without any problems after first fii?

Recommended Posts

3 weeks ago I had my first fill and was so excited as I thought this would be the extra help I needed to not overeat. well that is just not the case at all. I can still consume way to much food without any negative feelings such as tightness un the chest or a real sense of fullness. I have a 14cc band and initially had 3cc filled on my first fill. anyone out there with the same issues. and does a 2nd fill help??:help:

The larger band will take a few fills to be effective. I have 9cc in mine and can feel it now. For now, it will be a lot of willpower

For most people it takes 2-3 fills to see a difference and usually more before you hit your sweet spot.

I have the 10cc AP band with 1 fill of 2cc and I feel nothing.

I just had my first fill this morning. Back on liquids
for 2 two days. But the Surgeon told me to be back in 3 weeks for another fill. I'm already scheduled. He said I should get "some" restriction from this one, but some people don't until they have had 2 -3. Right now I feel no difference. But I'm crossing my fingers!!!

I have the AP small (10cc) band. I've had one fill of 2cc and I have no restriction either. I go back Thursday, so I will let you know if fill #2 does the trick.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water. Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
