10 mo PO Bump in abdomen

Recommended Posts

Hi All, So I am 10 months PO and I have a small bump/ball like item in my abdomen, maybe a little up and to the side of the large incision area. I had a CT scan a couple of weeks ago and everything showed up fine. Has anyone else had this? I asked to be put back on Protonix, as I think this started happening a little after the 3 months I was on it right after surgery... and my doctor just put me on Hyoscyamine to see if that would help as well. I dont have pain... it's just a annoyance as if I am leaning to the right side too long it's like HELLO! I'M HERE!... and then I readjust and it goes away. Thank you! :D

After my gastric bypass surgery, I had several incision point. I think it was 7. Over the first year or so they all disappeared. There was one in particular that produced a large bump. This was the last one to disappear. I asked my surgeons office about this. They said this is the point where most of the surgery was performed within my body. That is the reason why there was a hard bump.

Did it show up more recently? IE was it not there for the last 10 months?

Thank you!! It is above that incision point. Hopefully that is the reasoning. Thanks!!

It's been noticeable for the past 5-6 months, but since it doesn't hurt I had her feel and that's when she said it was the thing to prevent hernias. Since It as happening more recently that's why I requested a test and had a CT done. It seems though when I bring it up that no one has had this before, I can't be the only one. :(

More than likely the tissue healing, I had a bump or 2 on the internal portion of the incisions for a tick, they've gone away at this point. When they stitch inside, the tissue can "Bind" a bit, they are called Suture Granuloma's

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
