I think we are moving super fast too, I'm surprised as well. I like him a lot and I'vedecided to just go with the flow and not make a big deal out of anything.

I think it is a good sign.

By far the most common issue I've found is men are not looking to commit, that want to keep their options open, indefinitely, and the guys who are looking for a side piece. So the fact you're meeting the family rules those two issues out for the most part.

How did it go?!?!

Great, but oh no!

It will be one of those stories 10 yrs from now ..."remember our first Thanksgiving, when we hit that deer?" :P

Hitting a deer is one of my worst fears whenever I drive in "deer country", which is thankfully not often!

Glad you're all right. You also had the opportunity to see how he reacts under stress. (I'm a silver-lining kind of girl!)

Still doing this... mixed results though at this point, still happy with the whole process overall. Didn't follow yesterday and lost weight LOL funny how that works. I'm thinking when I drink beer, I stall or gain. When I don't, I lose... all without any relation to what I've eaten.

Like on the 21st I had climbed up to 213. I was 211.8 yesterday morning, Ate a decent amount of food, had pies, breads, etc. I did not drink at all though. Today, 210.3 again. My BF% did not change. My chart is starting to level out. My 30 day is pretty flat. Might have hit the lower limit, at least until I really start hitting the gym again and working on the muscle mass. I know the weight will climb, but I'm ok with having 50 lbs of "fat" while having a decent amount of muscle mass.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
