STD didn’t pay me for my band to sleeve revision

I started a new job Dec of 2017. My last successful fill was Oct 2017 but my issues started in April of 2018 that lead to the revision. My revision was on Aug 13 and I e been out for 2 weeks. It’s only for one week, but my pay is critical for me to live! The denial on my claim states that the Oct. visit was for my “Condition”. WTF?

Get the dr office to resubmit with an acceptable code, appeal, appeal appeal. Get insurance coordinator from bariatrics to help - tell them if they don't you will be seeking reduced payments - it is in their interests of getting paid to help you repeal this. Don't give up.

BCBS of Texas denied my appeal for lap to sleeve revision also! Even with letters and documentation from my doctors, their policy allows for only one bariatric surgery. Even with documentation about my chronic reflux! Heck with it, I am going self pay in December!
