Food Before and After Photos

Mom took me out for lunch for my upcoming birthday. Half of a crab cake, one ahi poke taco, salad and a spear of asparagus. Super decadent, but kept my portions small. The plate is a small appetizer plate. Ate all of it except the fried wonton “taco shell.“ It was amazing!
For comparison on my portions, Mom had two of the tacos plus my shell, one whole crab cake, two mini muffins, salad, and a couple of spears of asparagus. She is 75 years old and has a normal BMI.
I am trying to not feel guilty for this splurge meal 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

salad and pan seared swordfish. Finished the salad and had about half the fish left.

Lunch/left-overs from dinner last night. My take on Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers using Hatch green chili’s, stuffed with sautéed thin sliced beef, mushrooms, and onions, topped with a bit of reduced fat Mexican cheese blend. Left-overs from dinner last night. Very tasty 😋 Ate all of it. About 200 kcals and 19 G Protein.

Today’s breakfast: banana cinnamon chia pudding with fruit, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, almonds, and a sprinkle of granola. Shared this with my boyfriend.

So I’ve been craving enchiladas verdes so bad but trying to avoid the bread like carbs so I made an enchilada salad? Idk what to call it really. I basically made chicken in homemade salsa verde and put it on a bed out spring mix and romaine. Topped it with cotija cheese, light sour cream, onions, and cilantro. Also added some cucumbers and tomatoes. Craving satisfied

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
