What to eat for pre op diet

I began my 3 month check ins this month and I have no idea what to eat in order to lose the weight required for me to have this surgery. I was only told 2 meal replacement shakes and 1 small meal a day.... Does anyone have any advice on what those meals could be? Please I have no idea what to eat. I wasn't given a menu plan or anything else. Please share recipes and/or advice. Thank you.

This sounds similar to the liver shrink diet that I will follow in a couple weeks. Two shakes (breakfast and Lunch) .. Dinner consist of the following:

3 oz lean meat

steamed veggies or salad with fat free dressing

6 unsalted crackers or 2 slices low calorie bread or 1 small baked potato

1/2 cup fruit or 1 small piece of fruit

Hope this helps!
