Hi Everyone,

What I have read on here has been of great help in answering some of my questions. I have been considering having the surgery for 3 years. I kept putting it off to try something else....Finally I have decided to do this for my health. I have about 80 lbs to loose. I am a little scared since the last surgery I had was my wisdom teeth when I was 16. I am now 50......but here goes. I would love to get together with other members who have a November surgery date.

I too have a November surgery date. I am nervous.....but I want to live my life and not watch from the sidelines. My surgery is scheduled for 11/29 in Bend, Oregon.

I am a fellow newbee, in fact I haven't got a surgery date. But, I wanted to wish you good luck! These boards are the best support ever.

We cacn do this together. I live in Santa Clarita, CA. I am going to Mexico to have my surgery as my ins won't cover it here in the US. Hopefully we can keep in touch. I get what you say about watching from the sidelines....it is about time we start participating!!!!

I have seen several people did their surgery in Mexico and had positive results. Is the cost better there? Will a doctor state side do your fills/unfills?
