I'm 5'6 and was 238 on surgery date (sleeve) of April 25. I've lost 15 pounds since and will begin exercising in two weeks.

I'm 5'3" and was 55 at time of surgery. I believe my highest weight was over 300 in 2015 but I didn't get on scales then. Recorded HW 271.5. Day of Surgery - 246.9. As of today - 156. So from my highest weight - probably 150 pounds. From recorded high - 115. I'm about 20 months out. Because I'm of a certain age, I lost a bit slower, but I still have weight coming off. I now am working on building muscle mass and decreasing body fat. My body fat is about 31 percent right now and I'm shooting for 28.

Was anyone around 5'4 240lbs? How much weight did you lose and how long has it been since your surgery? What surgery did you have done? Just curious!

Hey Sasa, I'm 5'9, currently 260. Down 50 lbs since my pre-surgical check in on March 2nd, I was revised from the Band to Bypass on March 21st.

Good luck!

Hi. Pretty much the same. 5’4 and started at 230. Had my surgery January 15th. Currently down 71 lbs but have been on a stall for the past couple of weeks and really hoping it breaks this week! I try not to look at the scale but I can’t help it and those numbers really mess with me lol.

I had my VGS on May 16th, I am 5'3 and my HW231-SW205-CW192. The first two weeks after surgery I had lost 13 pounds. I'm back to work and feeling great. You will not regret your decision, this is a lifetime change and I couldn't be more satisfied with my results.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
