Hello all! I am seriously considering having a SILS or single incision gastric sleeve with Dr. Ponce de Leon in Tijuana, Mexico. Has anyone had experience with him? I really want the honest truth— good or bad. If you haven’t had him as your surgeon can someone out there who has had the SILS procedure tell me your experience? I mean was the post op easier because you had fewer incisions? Were you in an excruciating pain or was it manageable? Was your weight loss satisfactory? Did the one incision take longer to heal than the smaller ones made with a traditional laparoscopic sleeve? I just want a heads up on what I’m getting myself in to. I was confident in my choice and I think I’ve been on the internet for too long and I’m starting to doubt my decision from some of the horror stories I’m reading about. Thank you in advance for any help or advice.
