Thinking of Revision Surgery

Hi! I am 22 year old and I had my surgery 4.5 years back, after which I lost 35 kgs but I started regaining weight after the end of 2 year. And now I am back to square one meaning thereby I am back to initial weight which was 120kgs.

I am thinking of Revision of the sleeve. So I wanted to know if that’s a good option and if anyone of you went through the same procedure then please share your story.

Thank You!

Cheers!

If you mean a sleeve to RNY, I am post op of this exact revision.

the surgery went well but I am still on liquids and haven’t hopped on the scale so I can’t really say how it is now.

But I got the revision due to not losing weight, no restriction and GERD

Watching this thread closely. I was sleeved 3.5 years ago & have regained more than I'd like.

@Bryn910 Thank you for your response. But I am looking for revision of Sleeve, I mean I was thinking of getting done sleeve again as I feel my stomach pouch is almost back to its normal size.

However you don’t worry, I am sure you will get you desired results.

All The Best! :)

@DaleCruse Yeah Me too!!! I am not sure if getting sleeve done again is a good option as I am scared It’ be back to its normal size again.

Banded in 2011, revised to RNY March 21st 2018, wish I had done so sooner and glad I didn't revise from the Band to the Sleeve.
