How Soon Until Better? (Sleeved May 9th)

So I was as prepared for this as possible, doing lots and lots of research and reading/watching about people who have had it.

I had my surgery 5/9, and I was wondering about how long does it take for your stomach to stop hurting as much and it gets easier to drink? My stomach gurgles like crazy now whenever I take a drink of anything. I know things WILL get better, just curious how long it took people.

My surgery was on May 9th as well. I just got home from hospital I started running fever as well as having major naseau. Now that I am home these gas pains are horrible :( but I am drinking my protein as well as sugar free popsicles. Be careful I have found with sugar alcohols cause it will cause gas pains as well. I pray for each of you! And pray that each of you as well as myself reach the goals we have always wanted to be at.

I was thinking the same thing when I first had my surgery. For me I started feeling better after about a week. But drinking water first thing in the morning still kind of hurts 3 1/2 weeks out and I get a really uncomfortable feeling from eating too much. The hardest part for me is to stop eating after I've had just a few bites, because I know I will be super full if I keep eating. It will get better, hang in there.
