Froggi I found a big frog in my yard this time. Usually they are little tiny ones, about an inch long. This one was way bigger with a big fat belly. It was hiding by my rain gutter.

PJTP: Went to Bayou City Art Festival. Weather was phenomenal. No humidity at all which in itself is a small miracle in Houston.

Posting to say I don't know what a Frosty is, but I think it might but just what I need right now.....my nasty bacterial throat infection from 2 weeks ago is back and rearing its ugly head. Ugh.

The Doc gave me tomorrow off work, so at least I'll have time to watch the Sex and the City Movie DVD I bought a while ago and haven't watched yet. I saw it at the movies, but am exciting about seeing it again. The shoes!!!! I love the shoes!!!

I have to know, is the movie as good as the TV show was?

I thought so....possibly even better because its 2 hours in one sitting! But I am a BIG fan. I laughed and cried all the way through. Some people didn't like the way the story left Carrie and Samantha, but I did! Watch it, if you liked the show, there will be parts of the movie you love too, even if you don't agree with where the script writers went

A Frosty is a thick milkshake like thing you eat with a spoon. Also delicious for dipping your fries in.

Oh yeah that was JUST what I needed. Yum.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
