Froggi - I'm sorry too to hear about your Hamster. It's never easy to lose a pet. I know you'll enjoy getting to know your new one. Have you named him/her yet?

I know you are relieved to have your sleep study over with. I hate to hear you are asthmatic...hopefully he inhalers will help you. I wish I had some advice on the types to use, but I'm ignorant in that area.

Luluc - You should call them snack Trolls...Fairies are cute and pretty and all things nice...snacks are evil and tempting end up being bad bad bad...those are some expensive doggie treats. Where are ya'll in relation to the storm? My geography is terrible.

lol, trolls - ya know he bought 100calorie packs but of EVERY cookie / snack treat (12 - different boxes). i just don't really keep that in the house. maybe once a month - i get "something" or he moans when i hand him a bag of carrotts. - HA!! he's a big snacker - late night especially since he can't normally eat till late afternoon.

dogs are already spoiled - since we got banded, they get LOTS of leftover scoobies.

i'm a tad south - west of DFW. no expectation of being hit other than w/a lot of rain & wind.

froggi - are you able to get a generic substitute for your med that is too expensive?

LOL - my hubby thinks carrots are for rabbits. If I handed him a bag he would just give me that "you've lost your mind look" then laugh at me (though that is what he should be eating).

snack Fairies are deceptive...you think they are nice...they tempt you with yummy stuff that goes down without a problem. This definately causes the scale Fairy to behave badly. She feels like she has been cheated and retaliates!

Maybe we need to have a snack Fairy Meeting....I think I'd like your Fairy MacMadame. The problem in my house is DH and DD's think my snack fairy is their snack fairy. I hate when identities are stolen! Things end up missing.

this is making me giggle - yes we need a snack fairy conference.

my fairy has a "crunch" fettish - but gets bored with carrots/cucumbers/nuts after a period of time. fruit also only goes so far - big cherry fan myself (like them half frozen)..LOL

my big ole' labs are enjoing some beef Jerky & pretzles - i'm sure the gas fairy will be on her way..

My snack Fairy Likes cheese, Yogurt, Strawberries, Grapes, Cherries, Bananas and loves Peanut Butter (which I've deamed Evil) - she's pretty much a Dairy/Fruit Fairy. I wish I could find one that brings veggies I like - sigh.

Since I've fired the last one (she was prone to naughty things like Doritos, Dark chocolate, popcorn and Cheetos), the scale Fairy has been a little more tolerant.

I think the Gas Fairy Queen lives at my house. She has an awful since of humor and decides to strike at the most inappropriate times.

My snack fairy brings me.. chicken-n-a-biskit, 100 calorie shortbread Cookies, snack size snickers, and those caramel doves. But she makes sure to only give me the serving size

Thanks guys. The funeral was really nice (if you can say that about a funeral!). It was really representative of my Nana. It was just sad that there were only 10 people there.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
