13 Days Post-Op and I have lost 14 Pounds

Wow! I am 13 days post-op (gastric sleeve) and I have lost 14 pounds! YES! I was cleared to eat "soft" foods today so I went and bought some chicken salad from a local hot spot that makes it fresh daily! I took 4 VERY SMALL BITES and I am full! It's so weird! I was drinking up to a full cup of liquid per hour and my stomach can only tolerate 4 small bites. Eating out with clients is definitely going to be an issue. I'll have to keep this in mind when I am scheduling lunch appointments. Thank goodness I enjoy soups! :)

I was also cleared for all activities with the exception of lakes and oceans until my incision sites heal. I'm going to start walking for 30 minutes every day this week and then jump into a cardio routine next week. So excited! I can't wait to be in the 170s.

Awesome numbers! Congrats! I can't wait to be in any number that starts with a "1"!

Awesome! I have similar days out/loss numbers. I'm only OK'd to walk until I'm 4 weeks though, you're lucky!

Awesome job....congrats! I have found that most people wont notice the eating thing if you just take a tiny bite here and there. I think youll have great success with such a positive attitude. Good luck!

Oh my goodness how awesome! Keep up the momentum
