I was originally leaning towards the sleeve, but I've been doing a bit of research and the bypass sounds like it might be a better fit for me. I have GERD (have for years) and this may sound odd, but I like the idea of the possibility of dumping as negative reinforcement. I have a sweet tooth, so I think this could act as a good deterrent to sweets. However, I also have depression and anxiety that I take meds for. My depression has been in remission for many years because the meds I take work really well for me. One is XR, so I'm very concerned that having bypass could throw me into depression again, which I don't want! Anyone else deal with having to make a choice like this?
