Thank you so much for that. You seem pretty normal in the way you approach things. It seems pretty natural. It's pretty much what i try to stick to. Snacking IS a problem. Especially around that time of the month. But im getting my groove back. Making more of an effort to prioritize my Water and Protein and trying to get in more activity.

I had gone to the gym a few times with my sister but i did a lot of weights and got really sore. Maybe ill just keep it simple and stick to cardio and yoga. Thanks for the help. Keep up the great work!

Aw thank you and congrats! 40 is amazing, increase your Water (if you can) and try to only stick with Proteins. snack whenever but watch what your snacking. Anyone that’s says they don’t snack is lying so don’t worry about that. The first 12 months are crucial so just continue to do your best and always think about what you will look like months from now!

That’s what I did, also what I did for my first year was make a personal monthly goal. My doctor said I would go down 10 every month I made sure to go down 12-15 or more if possible. So make monthly goals, watch carb intake and you will be fine!!!

Thank you and good look with your journey!!! Remember follow your nutritionist plan no matter how tempting it is to eat carbs. Carbs drag the weight loss!! I wish someone told me that earlier

You look amazing congrats. We had surgery about the same time (I'm 12/30/16) and the struggle is real after you pass that one year mark. I've been stuck since January bouncing the same 3 pounds then I had my gallbladder out in Feburary, got off track with the gym (wasn't allowed to work out for a month and got lazy) and the snacking and gained 5 pounds. I legit freaked out but I've gotten 3 off in the past week so I'm back on track. I am so close to that goal I can see it but I just can't get over this bump so far.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
