I was sleeves 2/28 and plan on going back in 1 week. I'm healing really well though and don't have much pain.

I’m only planning on taking 1 week as well. My doctor said he wants me up and active, just don’t lift over 20lbs.

I work from home, so I technically took no time off. If I had needed to go into the office, I could have done that starting post op day 4. The only thing I have struggled with is exhaustion from the low calorie intake, so that would prevent me from working, if my job was physical.

I can work remotely so I started half days on post-op Day 3. Will go in for important meetings next week, but otherwise likely to only go up to 2/3 usual hours. Then week 3 I'll be back full-time. I probably should have taken the entire first week off though, just to sleep as much as I wanted.

Had surgery Wednesday 2/28 and went back to work Monday 3/5. I was tired the first two days but have been having better energy sometimes. I have a desk job so it has definitely been easier for me to return to work so soon. I would have taken a week off, but I don't want my co-workers to suspect I had WLS.

Had surgery 2/26. Had a bleeding complication so it’s caused some anemia and weakness. Home two weeks and go back to work tm. We will see how it goes! I’m still very tired and having spasms that hurt when I sit in a chair or drive.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
