Hi guys!
I am curious if anyone else has a similar experience or may have some advice.
I was sleeved 11/7/17 and other than a minor stricture 3 weeks post op, it has been really easy. I deal with moderate heart burn every day that I manage with Prilosec and tums.
For the past few months every time I eat I feel pressure in my throat like my food is coming back up. It lasts for about an hour or two. While it’s not painful it’s uncomfortable. I’ve found myself skipping meals when I just don’t feel like dealing with it.
I’ve tried to problem solve on my own and I’m stuck. I chew thoroughly, take small bites and eat slowly. The regurgitation feeling comes no matter what I eat.
Could it be related to heartburn or is this normal and will go away the further out from surgery I get?
Thanks
