I have talked to my doctor and my surgeon both tell me patience, I just need to know that I’m not alone and that this is a normal experience.
I’m still on protein shakes only as every time I eat soft food I get terrible stomach pain so that eating equals pain therefore I don’t want to eat.
I may be getting 800 to 900 cal a day, I doubt I’m getting my 60 to 80 g of protein.
I have released 28 pounds since starting pre-surgery prep, and my diabetes and CPAP requirements have almost disappeared.
Am I the only one that is experiencing the transition to different eating categories has been delayed due to things like pain when you eat, the pain is in my stomach.
