How Come We Never Look Like We Think We Look (Especially in Photos)???

Recommended Posts

That's okay Funky Monkey, I contributed then and I'm back again. I wish my Bariatric Program has taken a picture,of me for reference in the Baiatric Clinic Waiting Room as I had my last Pre-Surgery consult next to the Signboard they have. Got Tomkitten (my son) to take some at home and I want one of me in my surgical patient gown and cap, just before I get wheeled away to the OR. With a blue surgical shower-type cap it won't matter that my hair is light ginger red aka strawberry Blonde and The gown will be OSU scarlet and gray. And my REBIRTHDAY will be starting and I will never be the same! This is GOOD for the way I am now is not worth writing home about! 9-05-2018 and everthing will be made new! AND I CAN HARDLY WAIT!

I just had a photo taken for an office pass, and it looks like a still from a security camera where they're asking if you saw this woman because she may have poisoned one of her coworkers.

Mostly I think I don't look like photos because I'm used to seeing my face in the mirror, and this is the reverse.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
