Lol that’s okay sometimes the silly things work the best and I like the 360 cups because they come in multiple ounces I think it’s 4 oz, 10 oz 12 & 16 oz but I have only seen the 10 and 12 and the others online (: hope I was able to be of some help

Aww thank you so so so much [emoji173]️ I really appreciate all the support and kindness I have received from you and this platform has been beyond what I was looking for within the bariatric/ weight loss community. And being active and getting in fluids in the beginning was hard but they’re the keys to my success along with getting in Protein and Vitamins. Thank you again for your kind and generous words [emoji846][emoji173]️

Hi everyone, my names Myckayla I’m 20 years old my height is 4’11 my highest weight was 220 and my surgery weight was 208.4. I spent a total of 2 nights and 3 days in the hospital due to not being able to drink enough fluids. And now that I’m home I don’t have the feeling of hunger or wanting to drink :( has anyone else dealt with this and if so how? Because I don’t want to go back for dehydration. I’m also in the full liquid stage.

Hi Macky,

i too had my surgery on the 30th and although I feel I’m having a hard time fitting in all the fluids and Protein, ,, I decided to just do the best I can because stressing about it makes me more .... worried.. broth is something I’ve come to really like and the popsicles helps a lot. I keep track of things in a special little book the program gave us.

i also had the patch as it always had worked well for me. But now that’s all good. I feel good, better than I expected even!!!! Except for now I’m tired.. really tired but I’m making small trips to the mailbox, the stop sign at the end of my street... but mostly need to remember to be good to my body,, it went through a complete makeover on the inside.

sounds like you are doing great now!! Keep us updated!!

I am trying! I thought I was doing better with liquids but turns out I am not :/ my stomach never seems to be satisfied and that’s partially because I’m not getting the right amount of Protein or liquids in but I start purée in a few days and I’ll have to see how that goes

How soon are they starting you on the puréed stage after your surgery? I’m still on the full liquids until 2/12... then the puréed...

i like the boxed Soups with my powdered Protein mixed in... very filling tho... I try to remember my insides are healing.. if I don’t get in all my protein then in a few days I will as I continue to heal inside.. I try and get it all in but I also have a lot of fat to live off of for a few days if I need to...

you are doing by great!!!! Keep in touch!

I should be on fulls til the 12th too but my booklet says 1-2 weeks after full I can start so I’m gonna ease my way into purée. Like I said I’m having trouble with Protein and with purée there’s a lot of protein options so I’m just gonna do what feels comfortable to my stomach

I also had surgery on 1/30. My nutritionist allowed me to have 1/2 Premier Protein shake beginning yesterday in morning and other half in evening. What a treat. Anxious for appointment tomorrow. Hopefully I can get tube out. liquid coming out is almost clear. Still wearing patch for nausea.

Yay another 30th sleever! And you had a drain? You’re the first person I’ve come across who’s had one. And I took my patch off I don’t have anything holding me back aside from muscle soreness. And premier is great!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
