Surgery hours away and so nervous!

Super nervous going into the surgery! Please share your positive outcomes for me so I may visualize that the end is worth it! The preop prep was surprisingly easy for the prescribed 2 weeks - despite me feeling like I was detoxing and a bit irritable. ? I just want to live life with my family ? percent to the fullest! Thank you for the prayers and encouragement!

I just had my vsg yesterday 1/29 the pain was minimal, gas is pretty bad in my shoulders even though I got up and walked immediately. I'm already on stage 2 bariatric and just had applesauce and cottage cheese, couldn't eat more than 2 spoons and I got that full feeling, but doing well and ready to be discharged. Good luck you'll be just fine

Thank you everyone for your encouragement and good vices and prayers! I read them all right before going into surgery. It went well. I'm feeling pretty chipper and much better than I imagined - as long as I keep up with the pain meds! Walked, walked, walked and sipped, sipped, sipped. Thank you for the Chapstick suggestion - priceless! I have never had such a dry mouth! I am super tired. I'll check back in to see how all of you are doing! ?❤️?
