Find a rocking chair and rock as hard as you can, it will help the gas move. This is the only thing I could get to work for me.

Gas-X strips (dissolve on your tongue), and walking.

My wife and I were banded last week as well, but we are both experiencing different problems. Her issue is with her port, it is very sore. We both agree that it will just take time for it to heal. As for me, it is the gas (at least I hope it is gas). I can barely have any water and I am full for 3+ hours. Thoughts?

Ditto with the walking, I also have an electric blanket on my bed (mmmmm its sooo comfy) and I am sure the heat from that in the night has helped!

You will feel well before you know it :0)

Leal - I have a lot of port pain at the moment specially when I do too much , maybe its a girl thing??

As to the not being able to drink I think that is a bit more of worry hon , have you tried ringing your surgeon?

The only thing that I can think is that for some reason you are very swollen inside and hopefully as it starts to heal it will ease up, but you dont want to get dehydrated, deffo ring and get checked out hon
