What medications are okay for a upset tummy?

Does anyone know any medication suggestions for nausea and diarrhea or any stomach aches after vsg?

    Depends on how long after surgery and exactly what the symptoms are. Some symptoms might require a medication (like a bad case of GERD)....some might require investigation. Not a bad idea to run this one by your doctor, so he can give a list of the types of things he'd want to know about, and remedies he prefers you to use.

    For nausea if it's more than just passing they usually do zofran (prescription). For acid there are a bunch, my program has us on Pepcid the first few weeks. Not sure on the diarrhea but my sense is the only big one they want you to avoid are NSAIDS.
