Hey my surgery date is January 18th, my surgeon said that I should do my pre op diet at least 3-4 weeks before as he doesn’t think 2 weeks is enough...so far I’ve done the pre op meal plan - low carb diet and I’ve managed to loose 7kg (1 stone) in the past 3 weeks which I’m glad about so will continue until surgery date.
So happy I managed to loose over Xmas
Good luck to you all and happy new year 2018 is our year!!

For those of you who had surgery on 1/2/18: how is it going? I am still in pain; actually it was getting a bit better, but my significant other coughed while I was sleeping and I woke up with a start and felt like I tore something. As for fluids, I am barely getting in 20 oz a day. The one positive thing I can say is that I have no appetite at all. Hopefully it gets better. Good luck to all.

Hi Maggie, I had surgery on the 2nd and I'm still in pain. On the good side, it's getting better every day. Fluid wise I'm getting slightly more fluid in and also no appetite either. Good luck
