  1. Too cute and funny. Hopefully this doesn't happen to any of us. We came a long way

  3. Thank you. It would be very helpful.
  4. I get you, I can't finish a whole ear either. I think 1/2 ear is good.
  5. Looking real good[emoji2]
  6. I also use Baritastic. It also gives you reminders when to eat, your protein, etc. It also will log your weight loss and exercise.
  7. I'm sore on the left side of my belly and my rib cage. I think that was from the gas and not being able to move. I believe the only dumb question is the one not asked. Having said that, I haven't been afraid to drink anything after the first day but I did drink a sip of carbonated water accidentally.....i would not recommend. Try to keep drinking your protein shakes. my book says to start by drinking 4 ounces over one hour and build up slowly and remember the shakes count, yogurt counts, strained soup counts too. I'm not a doctor but you can try that until you contact your doctor. Good ?
  8. i was sleeved on the 2nd and nothing happened until today. you might want to check with your doctor about no BM. He suggested I try an alternative laxative and let's just say no more issues. I first thought since we are on a liquid diet, didn't have to worry. Good luck ?
  9. I'm also planning on taking the Flintstones chewables complete. They're fun to take and don't taste bad.
  10. I agree, you are doing good. ☺
  11. Hi Maggie, I had surgery on the 2nd and I'm still in pain. On the good side, it's getting better every day. Fluid wise I'm getting slightly more fluid in and also no appetite either. Good luck

  15. My surgery is tomorrow morning and I'm also concerned about excess skin. I heard not everyone gets this issue and I hope I will be lucky ?
  16. I happen to agree with Brittany Blue. My surgery is tomorrow morning first thing and I have been freaking out over the surgery, but today I'm at peace, From what I hear this is perfectly normal and the feeling of backing out does go away. Maybe my surgical team did me a favor by making me the first patient tomorrow? Think back to what motivated you to have the surgery in the first place. Don't you want a long healthy life with your wife? Sure you do. I've been worried about excess skin too but my Bariatric nurse said it doesn't happen to everyone. It may not happen to you. This year is our year to shine! Keep your eyes on the prize at the end of the journey.

  18. I'm starting to become nervous myself. My sleeve is January 2nd and I just got my time for surgery. I do believe it is the "liquid diet" talking and I'm trying to remember how far I came.

  21. I never thought about having it fixed at surgery. I plan on calling the office and asking. Thank you
