My surgery is on December 26th and I just started getting a cold. Will having a cold have any impact on my surgery?

You have nine days to get well:) Baby yourself. Cool mist humidifier at night. Nice hot baths. Good nutrition. Take your vitamins until you are supposed to stop.

You could ask your doc for a B vitamin shot, or any other recommendations to help you feel better quicker. Try to relax and not let holiday prep be overwhelming. Enlist help and don't sweat the small stuff. Take extra special good care of yourself...and you'll do just fine:)

As long as there is no fever you should be fine by then. Good luck!
