I will begin working on our 1-year Bandiversary Blow-Out today. We've decided on gathering at a cabin/house on Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland from a Friday - Monday in April.

Step 1 = Who is coming?

Once I have an initial interest number, then I can check for a house to hold us all. They have houses that sleep up to 25 or so (w/indoor pools & other fun amenities!).

So simply post your name & in a day or so I'll tally them up & begin the house hunt, which will then result in our dates & specific location & cost per person.

We can't get the rooms free unless my dad goes too, damn it!

He never told me that stipulation before, he always told me if I ever wanted to go & take folks, just let him know.

Gah I'm really upset atm, and just got off work, I'll get back online when I get home.

Well, he called them to get the rooms and they told him if he isn't checking in, they can't comp them.

I'm so sorry guys, I don't even know what to say.

He does not want to go? He could gamble!!!!

We'll figure it out don't worry--we had fall back plans....

Hi Kathy~

When our plans fell through, we moved on to make new plans---and at this point all of our reservations have been made.

There is a big Lap Band Splash going on sometime soon in Oregon I think it is----I had made plans to attend this one with the Shrinking Violets group---a group of us all banded at the same time, that have been together since the beginning---and could not do both, so I don't know much about the Splash. I also read recently about a group planning a meet in Vegas.

We will be in Texas--San Antonio area the middle of May. If you will be in the area let us know!! As I say our reservations have been made and paid for...so our trip is closed I guess you would say at this point.

Hang out-----look around, there are usually several meet ups being planned, maybe you can get in on the next one coming up!!! Hope so!
