Hi guys,
I am 8 days post-op and I'm feeling good! I am so completely tired of the liquid diet, however, I know this is what I have to do to be healthy and successful. Here's the problem... I am a part-time Disney travel agent and I have an upcoming Walt Disney World trip coming up at the end of February. I've been doing a lot of planning while I've been home recovering. I've been driving myself mad reading restaurant menus freaking out that I'm not going to get my protein and water quota while walking 12+ miles a day. At this point I will be just over 3 months post-op. Can anyone give me any suggestions, experiences, advice on how to stay energized and not get sick while in the parks? Luckily, it will be winter so I'm not too concerned with the sun dehydrating me. I also know that this is in the future and I don't know how my body and my new stomach will be then. Just looking for some input.
Thanks!
